Customer Review: Takes the burden off of me...

This is a huge help in promoting Mom's independence. I fill it, then let her choose the best alarm times. She takes morning and evening doses. Since she is prone to forget occasionally even after shutting off the morning alarm, I set the afternoon alarm as a 'check and see if I took my morning pills' alarm. It has worked out great so far. Mom can take ownership of making sure she takes her pills, and I get to be the daughter again instead of the medication nag :)
My only 'Con' is that I would like the alarm to have a 'sonic' setting, so that it could be heard more easily by the hard of hearing.

Item is working well for my mother who could not remember if she took her medicine, but I feel it has one design flaw. Design has friction locks so the Pill containers will stay in even if the unit is turned upside down. Unfortunately, the containters fit so tight that they are almost impossible to remove with arthritic fingers. I had to add 1/8 inch spacers to the bottom of the container slots to elevate the containers so that she could get them out.Customer Review: This works very well!

This product works like advertised. Very helpful as one doesn't have to remember the system does it for you. All you have to do is fill the little boxes and take your pills when reminded. Color coding is a good idea as is the day of the month and which pill to take is stated in the reminder and on the clock. Works great! The only thing that was a bit confusing was setting the alarm times.
