I purchased the Medline Deluxe Folding Rollator for my 86yr old father. He has resisted any assistance with walking. He is unstable on his feet without the walker and has confidence walking when he is using it. I was concerned that the Rollator would not be stable enough for him or tall enough for him, given that he is over 6 ft tall. He has been thrilled with it. He was gratful that it had a seat since he tires easily. That feature alone convinced him to use it. I was worried that he would not be able to figure out the braking mechanism or be coordinated enough to use it. No problem. The only negative is that the basket has not been useful since it must be removed before you fold it up. He has used the Rollator mainly as a way to get around outside the house: getting from the car to appointments. Though not designed for it, he has used it on a gravel driveway successfully. I love the rollator...it makes my entire house accessible to me. Actually, I bought two of them..one for the second floor and one for the basement. I already had a third one that I use on the first floor and when I leave the house. It is sturdy, easy to fold up up, and allows me to walk without pain.
Without the rollator I would be nothing but a "couch potato" but with it I can go just about anywhere I want and live a fairly normal life....without the pain in my back that occurs if I try to walk without support. Is the rollator for you? Try this simple test....When you grocery shop, do you find it much easier to walk if you have the support of the grocery cart? If so, you will love the rollator, because it offers even more support, due to the fact that it has hand brakes and gives you more control. Also, having a seat where you can sit down and rest is an extra, added, bonus.

I live in a Senior Complex and this resident has seen this at the local Rite Aid Store for $179.95, and wanted to get one so she asked me as I had a car if I would not pick it up for her. So I told her yes, But first when to my computer and checked. This roller walker by Medline was rated best in catagorie and Amazone had it on sale for $99.99. with free shipping. She was thrilled I had saved her $80.00. Not only that but this roller walker by Medline was the only roller walker in our complex that had a curved back when you sat down, all the others had the straight bar accross the back. she walked around like a peacock so proudly in her blue Medline roller walker. And yes here name was Peacock, (Irene). I was just happy to help this widowed woman. We sometimes forget who brought us into ythis world and what we really owe them.Customer Review: Excellent purchase

I am on oxygen 24/7, and my doctors have told me several times that I need to walk. Until now, it has been very difficult (have to carry my oxygen tank or push it on a cart). I would get tired and all I could do was just stand there. I would be doing good to walk 2 or 3 blocks, and I would be done (out of gas). Now, with my Rollator Walker, my wife and I go to our local mall and walk (it's all level). I put my oxygen tank in the basket (so I don't have the weight of carrying it), and when I get tired I have a place to sit and rest. We have been walking 1.5 miles each time, and we are hoping to get it up to 3 miles. Reasonable cost. Excellent product and great quality. I very highly recommend this walker.

I purchased this Rollator for my father-in-law. He was in a Nursing Home at the time after a freak accident that left him unable to walk. He had been in two hospitals and was in his third Nursing Home. We took him to Specialists but the only possible solution was a major complicated surgery. He is almost 84 and decided against surgery since there was no guarantee. This rollator allowed him such independence that he was able to leave the Nursing Home and live with my brother-in-law. I must add that they had a rollator in the Physcial Therapy Department of the Nursing Home and that is how he discovered it after being there for three months. This product is a Miracle, he can get around their house just like he is walking.
