Outstanding product, easy to get in and out of a car, folds and sets up quickly, and the brakes on the handles allow you to set the brakes without bending over to lock the wheels for entry or exit of the chair. With the brakes on the handle the chair can also be used as a walker. The Medline Transport Chair with brakes fills the bill. There is a slight hill where we have to take it every day, and the handbrakes work great easing us down the hill. We have placed the chair(folded) in the back of our Outback several times, and it is easy to handle. My wife says the chair is completely comfortable to sit in for extended periods. My wife is 75 and has COPD. She can walk short distances, but doing something like going to the mall was out of the question. This chair fills the bill perfectly. It is light enough in weight that I can easily get it in and out of the car trunk, and is easily disassembled if necessary. It's easy to push, and the large rear wheels do well on various surfaces.Customer Review: Love this chair

This chair is lightweight and very easy to manuver around. The footrests can be very easily removed to make it even easier to put in the backseat of car. We leave it in the car and use for all outings. The passenger says it's very comfortable, even for extended sitting/riding. This chair is very light and easy to lift in and out of my car. As you can see it does not have big round wheels for the person sitting in it to use, it is for the caregiver. It is sturdy yet light weight. I received this chair within two business days of placing my order. I am extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it.
