I always had problems with my delicate skin when shaving and had tried everything in the market until I discovered MenScience. This product REALLY works, my face feels great after shaving. Use it in combination with the Post Shave Repair and the results are optimal. The price might seem initially high, but the amount in in the container is very generous and you do not need as much quantity as with the regular stuff.Customer Review: a shaving lotion that actually works!

This is a terrific product. The Advanced Shave Formula goes on smooth and I have to say I haven't suffered from razor burn or ingrown hairs once since using it. I also thought that it was pretty cool because it wasn't a foam or gel, it's like a clear lotion which allows you to actually see where you're shaving. a definite plus. I've used this product for a couple of months and it does a good job, but
nothing stellar. It is better than anything you would find at Walmart or
the supermarket (i.e. Gillete, Colgage, etc) but not too different from a some shaving cream formulas from Kiehls or Art of Shaving. Believe me, i've tried a bunch of shaving creams and gels and this product TOO EXPENSIVE.
A better bet would be Kiehls shaving formulas which work well to improve my razor bumps and last a lot longer.
I give it 3 stars because of price and also because 1/2 the reviews to date 5/10/08, have come from the South Florida area. Mens Science is also based in South Florida. Coincidence - perhaps, but I'm always a skeptic of a small number of reviews.

Having very sensitive skin I was very excited to see that this product works well with skin prone to irritation. My shave started out well, but by the next morning I had practically the same amount of razor burn and ingrown hairs that always plague me the next day. Overall, I am very disappointed with this product as it didn't work much better than your typical generic shaving cream.Customer Review: Caused severe breakout

I used this for about a month. During this time, my face gradually broke out worse than when I was 15 years old and working at a fast food restaurant. I didn't think it could be this product because it has acne medication (salicylic acid). But, I quit using it, and sure enough it gradually became better and two weeks later, not a zit in sight.
