I bought this razor for when I travel because it's a bit smaller than the "Barber Pole" one I use at home. They are both great razors and will easily shave as close as the multiblade vibrating twin overhead cam 16 valve models at a quarter of the price. There is a 5-10 shave learning curve but once you get it down you will love it. I shave then rinse then lightly go over and it gives me a very close shave! I did get a few nicks but nothing that would stop me from using the razor.Customer Review: A little disappointed

I was a little disappointed in the overall quality. The razor is stamped and chrome plated rather than machined. It's really more cosmetic than anything else as the razor works fine -- I just expected more for the price.
The second gripe is the handle length. It just feels too short, and there isn't the reassuring feeling you'd get if the end rested on the heel of your hand. As it is, you pinch the barrel between your fingers and that's the only contact with the razor.
It's a very simple design, sturdily built and it will probably last forever. It has a nice heft to it too. But if I'd seen it first hand I wouldn't have bought it.
