I don't know, the quality seems to be good, but for some reason it doesn't shave clean. I used same brands of blades on this one and another razor of different brand, but result always not in favor of Merkur.Customer Review: Much too rough on my skin

I did not like this at all. It was very rough and irritated my skin. I returned it after only a couple of shaves.
