Customer Review: Smells Great. Not a fan of the foaming action.

My wife and I used to buy this soap all the time from a local big box store. Older versions of this soap come with a raindrop shaped container.
This version has packaging that is visually more appealing, but it doesn't seem to have the scrubbing power of the old stuff. I'm not sure if it's the foaming action or if there was a change in the soap itself? But I find myself using more "pumps" to get my hands clean than the old stuff.

This product has a nice--if very subtle scent---but seems to be more of a hand sanitizer than a bar soap or a liquid body wash. I'd hate to go out in the summer using just this product without using a deodorant soap (like Zest or Dial).Customer Review: The pump is terrible.

I've heard foaming hand soap is more economical and eco-friendly, however, the Method Foaming Hand Soap bottles do not last long and therefore, the buying a refill for the pump is pointless. I have a pair of hand pumps that have not lasted past 2 refills because the pump is not sturdy. It is unclear why they break, it seems that after refilling them the second time, they no longer work and while soap comes out, it isn't foamy. I'm not certain if this then is wasting the soap or what. The soap works great and I still have a large refill container but as soon as the pump is out, I'm going to buy a different brand for the pump but continue using the soap.Customer Review: Horrible Lasting Smell

I chose this hand soap from all the other method foaming hand soaps because it appeared to be clear, which I associate with pure and unadulterated. Silly me. I should have been looking for the words "fragrance and dye free". I'm a gal that hates strong perfume smells. I like soap that either has no smell or has a very light smell that doesn't linger. So if you're a person who isn't into perfumed stuff, this soap is not for you. I ordered the "method naked" hand soap. I'll let you know how that works out.
