Customer Review: The BEST deodorant / antiperspirant - does NOT discolor

This review is for the unscented version of Mitchum Power Gel. While I can't attest to the appeal of the scented versions of this product, I'm sure their effectiveness is identical. Mitchum Power Gel Unscented goes on clear, leaves no residue, and does not interfere with cologne. It is the most effective antiperspirant I have encountered out of the plethora I have tried. At the end of the day I have no trace of body odor while wearing this product, even if I've been sweating.
There are several reviews claiming this product stains or discolors clothing, however the active ingredient in Mitchum Power Gel is the same as every other antiperspirant of its kind: aluminum chloride. The aluminum salts may react with sweat to cause stains, but so will any other antiperspirant containing aluminum. Why would anyone want to use a product that has the potential to cause stains? Because aluminum chloride is the most effective way of preventing sweat glands from excreting.
For what it's worth, I've never experienced stained clothing and I've been using aluminum based antiperspirants since my teens.
