Like the other reviewer, I'm not sure how well this works. My baby has clearly been helped by it on occasion, yet at other times it doesn't seem to work, as she still has tremendous gas afterwards. It's also not clear how long it continues to work after giving it-- maybe an hour or 2?
I reccommend giving it in a bottle or other medicine dropper, as their syringe does not release smoothly, and my baby coughed because it pushed too much liquid into her mouth.
It smells refreshing, like anise, and baby seems to like the taste.

We've only been using it for a few days, and sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure whether it helps but sometimes there are other factors, or when it seems to help it's just chance.
But our son doesn't mind the taste at all, contrary to an earlier reviewer's comments.

I have heard fabulous things about gripe water from fellow mothers, but this particular brand is horrible. The scent is strong, and the taste is strong and medicinal. There are other gripe water brands out there that do not have such scent/taste.
Upon ingesting only 1 ml of this gripe water, my 7 week old daughter gagged repeatedly and vomited. Up until then, she never vomited before.
If you want to try gripe water, find another brand.
