Customer Review: Mount It Right and It Stays Tight.

The mount that came with my shower head was useless. The suction cup (2" disk) popped off as soon as water pressure was increased. I tried the adhesive pad and disk mount which lasted a few days. I came across this unit and gave it a try. Had a problem at first with it not holding suction and the articulating arm not holding its position. But I found the trick. When mounting make sure the surface is clean. Now here is the trick; in all the pictures it shows the green locking lever off to the left at the 3 o'clock position which suggest that is how you should do it. Move it down to the 6 o'clock position then apply pressure, now tighten all joints as needed. The weight of the shower head and the added water pressure apply a downward pressure on the lever maintaining locking suction. I have had mine set like this for six weeks and it has never fallen off. I also have the 12" grab bar and foot rest for shaving woman's legs. I am 100% satisfied with this product line.
February 09 2011: Update - After having used this for a month the suction end is still holding. As for the "C" clamp is seems to be losing hold on the shower head which pops out every time water pressure is applied. I have been trying a few adjustments but the same results. It is a shame as this comes from a good product line.
