My little kids love it. We have a double shower head - one secured, and one that has a hose. My girls love to shower together now - no fighting over who's taking who's water and who gets to play with the hose. One shower head for each kid and the shorter child actually wants the shower head that is placed lower since it keeps her body in the warm water. Even the 2 year old can shower with the shorter shower head! The head is easily removed without causing the suction cup to fall off. The suction cup is secure even when adjusting the angle of the shower head. Obviously you must place the suction cup on the flat surface of the tile or shower stall for the suction cup to accurately work. This is an inexpensive and perfect solution to an annoying problem.
FYI, if you have a shower stall that has been "re-glazed", you can't use any type of suction cup devices on re-glazed surfaces or it will take off the re-glazing.

I purchased this item because I have a very small shower stall, and I bought a new hosed shower head which put the head too far into the shower (and too high for me, also). With this device, I can put the shower head back near the wall, and at the same height and angle as the old head. It fits right next to the shower rack and, by rotating the head just a bit, the stream is right back in the center of my small stall. Noting the remarks of other users, I don't leave the shower head in this device when not in use, but return it to its original holder, avoiding the weight of the shower head causing the vacuum attachment to release and the head to go crashing to the flow.
As I said, works great for me, and I'm very happy with it.

I've been using mine stuck to the glass shower door for a month with no complaints. It hasn't fallen off yet and it holds the shower head at the right height for me.
I can't stand on both feet in the shower since my right Achilles tendon rupture and surgery so I use a shower tub stool that I sit on and the shower head is held in place with the suction grip placed low enough on the glass shower door so I can reach it while sitting in the shower.
The shower stool and shower arm grip have been such a convenience for me, I don't know how I would have managed without them!
Oh, I suppose if you bump it hard enough, it will lose it's grip and fall to the shower floor. So don't bump it, thats all!

We did not have high expectations for this when we bought along with a pair of shower hand grips (see our review Mommy's Helper Safer Grip Portable Shower Arm), but are now very impressed with the simplicity and quality of the design. It goes up quickly and securely and is really easy to adjust. We use it to aid in showering a parent with Alzheimer's, and it's perfect for providing a convenient place to put the hand-held shower head where it's always within easy reach. It's just one of those little things that makes life easier, and now we wonder why we waited so long to get one.Customer Review: Perfect solution

I recently purchased a new shower head w/filter April Shower APHH Handheld Shower Head and Filter Includes Pulse Massage and this oral irrigator ShowerBreeze w/ 6' Hose Water Jet Dental Irrigator but when combined the shower head angle was much too high. I found this portable shower arm to be the perfect solution. It is extremely stable and has plenty of suction strength on my smooth tile walls.
