Customer Reviews of Motherlove Herbal Nipple Cream (1 oz)Customer Review: *Amazing* product that brings instant relief! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a mom of 4. I've been through the cracked/scabbed nipple thing with my daughters too. My sons, for some bizarre (Freudian?) reason have been marathon nursers without problems. Minor problems, but nothing like looking at the raspberry that used to be your nipple (even with proper latch and positioning and all that) and wondering WTH went wrong? LOL... I recommend Nipple Cream by MotherLove.com. It's cheapest through LuckyVitamin.com. That, plus the Ameda Comfort Gel pads... and your nipples will *adore* you. That's what I've been using with my newborn (2nd) son. I alternate between the Comfort Gel pads and the Nipple Cream. I love Lansinoh as well, but I find the Nipple Cream *much* easier to apply to abused nipples.
One application of the Nipple Cream will have you seeing instant results with instant relief. I was introduced to it at the hospital, and couldn't believe how much the Nipple Cream helped the pain. A must-buy.
Customer Review: Seriously, the BEST Summary: 5 Stars
I can't say enough positive things about this nipple cream. It is by far and away the best, and believe me, I've tried almost everyone out there, including the Lansinoh cream. I used it multiple times per day as I pumped 10x/day for my premature babies, and again as I was learning to breastfeed. It made my sore nipples feel better instantly on contact, and kept them moisturized and pain free (relatively!). Most importantly, it was safe for my babies to ingest, which was a real concern for me, as the last thing you want to have to do is wipe something off your nipples right after putting it on! A single jar lasted me several months, and now I give it to every new mom for a baby shower gift! Seriously, you won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: truly the best for sore or bleeding nipples! Summary: 5 Stars
Shortly after giving birth before my breasts let-down milk to feed my baby, my nipples ached and bled a little. I received this product as a gift and used it on my nipples. What a huge relief! It worked instantly and i actually didn't have to keep applying it. after using it for only around 3 times my nipples were a-okay. i was able to nurse my baby without any problems. it is also safe for baby. this Motherlove nipple cream surely is a miracle cream. not to mention it is organic and doesn't test on animals. other cons because i only support and use organic, cruelty-free products. truly fantastic to my body, my baby, and the planet! i say not shabby at all. i highly recommend it to all the breastfeeding mothers of the world!
Customer Review: Also great for dry baby fingers Summary: 5 Stars
This has been a great nipple cream, however I recently discovered another great use. My 7 months old baby has been sucking on her fingers to sooth herself to sleep for a few months now, once she falls asleep she doesn't suck on the fingers all night. Recently in the winter months I noticed the skin on those 2 fingers getting dry and red. Since she puts them into her mouth I wasn't quite sure what to do to alleviate the dryness. Then I thought I'd try this nipple cream since it helps with dryness and is safe for babies to ingest. So I tried it and in a couple of days the dryness and the redness on her fingers cleared up!
Customer Review: Also good for cradle cap Summary: 5 Stars
Our son had the most horrible case of cradle cap. The pediatrician's office suggested this cream. Don't be fooled by the photo, the jar is very small, but the salve is very concentrated. The texture and color looks like vaseline, but actually is much thinner when spread on, and absorbs easier. There is only the faintest smell, and not mediciney either. The ingredients contain shea butter and calendula.
It has really helped with the cradle cap, severely diminishing the horrible weeping/scaling/flakiness of the condition.
