Like all the lavender scented items by Mrs. Meyers, this item is pure, clean natural-smelling lavender. It's wonderful for a relaxing mood at the end of the day, while meditating or doing yoga. The jar design and label totally lack any finesse or style, which is why I gave 4 stars - if you don't want a purely utilitarian looking candle (fine in the kitchen, since this is a 'kitchen candle'), you'll want to find a nice way to hide it. But the fragrance is heaven, the burn is spotlessly clean - none of that sooty stuff that you get with Yankee and the like, on the jars.Customer Review: Very Nice

Use this product at your own risk. It contains BHT, which may or may not be a carcinogen. Probably not a good idea to inhale it. Because it is not a food product, the manufacturer -- Caldrea -- is not required to list BHT as an ingredient. They should.
