Customer Review: Great knee support combined with a good value.

After redamaging my knee with a stumble that pulled something in it, I really needed a brace that would let me walk w/out pain and keep it from being damaged more.
My primary criteria was that the brace not slip down, have some way to firmly hold the knee in place (sometimes mine seems like it can painfully move to where it shouldn't by just looking at it), and not cost a fortune. This one has delivered on all fronts.
The steel hinges that go on each side of the knee can be moved so they work to hold a smaller knee like mine in the right place, or they can go in an outside pocket so they work for larger knees.
Unlike a previous reviewer, I find this brace pretty comfortable versus other options. For me, I haven't had any rubbing or chafing. Since it's held w/ velcro, I can easily adjust the tightness at either the top or the bottoms of it to make it looser or tighter depending on what I'm doing, and this also prevents ankle swelling I've had before wearing some braces. But, it is probably made for more acute injuries - since it's a bit bulky. But, as long as it gives me the support my knee needs to recover and I can walk in it, the bulkiness is the least of my concerns.
