Customer Review: High quality wheelchair for the price.

I was impressed with the quality and features of this transport chair. It has side panels whereas other models do not. The footrests have heel straps where others don't. It's fairly lightweight and easy to fold. The fact that the rear handle assembly unlocks and folds down makes it even more compact and easy to stow in a trunk for mobility. Although it's fairly comfortable, I'd recommend getting a 3 or 4 inch cushion (typically with egg-crate foam inside to minimize pressure points) for greater comfort, plus it will make the seat higher and easier for an aged individual to get in and out of.
The footrests easily attach or detach and they can just swing away to ensure the user doesn't trip on them getting in or out of the chair.
The brakes on the handle work pretty well but I did notice some wheel slippage, though it might be due to the fact that the wheels are slick due to being new. The rear wheel locks are handy for stabilizing the chair for entrance/exit.
Make sure you realize this is a TRANSPORT chair for someone to push; the user cannot wheel themselves around.
I'd recommend this item, especially for the price that it was listed for!

Our NOVA 352R, 19" Transport Chair is designed to provide easy, lightweight patient transport. 12" rear wheels provide a more comfortable ride. The comfortable padded upholstery and arm pads are reinforced to prevent stretching or ripping. It features Flip Back/Detachable desk arms which facilitates easy user transport. Hand Brakes provide optimum safety and control. For added safety a seat belt is included and each chair is equipped with locking rear wheels. The lightweight aluminum frame (28lbs.) makes loading easier. The quick-release, fold-down back allows the chair to fit compactly into small areas. It has non-skid footplates with heel loops.
