I started taking this product, '5 HTP' because I wanted to get off of my prescription antidepressants. I have tried getting off them before and it never worked, I tried many other natural medications and herbs and was very disappointed. This 5 HTP has worked wonders for me, after being disappointed in other things I had tried I almost didnt try this, now I am glad I did.
I have a problem with anxiety mostly, not really depression. I am Borderline Personality.
It might not work for everyone but for me it has been a god send. I have only tried the NOW brand so I am not sure about other brands.
I hope this is helpful to someone, it has changed my life.
