I wanted to go the natural route for health and got tired of the negative side effects of Rx (z.l.ft) ... low libido, flacid parts. I take the 100 mg morning, noon, and night along with niacin, male multi-vitamins, and extra vitamin C. My overall mood is better and it helps with anxiety as well. I even feel as if I'm getting better sleep and have more energy. The important thing was that I weened myself off Rx meds, became healthier (in addition to working out 4-6 x per week), and my wife and I are very pleased that my libido is back to normal with no flacid parts anymore!Customer Review: amazing sleep

Within an hour I relax and feel sleepy after taking this product.. Now I sleep through the night for the first time in years due to chronic back pain. My husband has used it sucessfully for occaisional insomnia also. What I really appreciate is I wake up rested and alert, no medication induced fuzzy-head. This is a great product if you're trying to control addiction. 5 htp is the direct precusor to the neurotransmitter seratonin, it makes your body able to produce more. I've found that taking this in the early evening on an empty stomach helps me avoid alcohol.Customer Review: it says 100mg first then changes to 50mg
