TRY THE ENTERIC COATED SOFTGELS - AVOID STOMACH UPSET
I have been taking enteric coated peppermint oil for years to help relieve stomach upset after meals. Often I combined it with Chamomile tea and the results were excellent and relief from cramping was achieved with 1 cup of tea and one 50 mg. oil of peppermint enteric coated soft-gel capsule. I thought I would try adding a droplet of peppermint oil into my chamomile tea and improve the outcome, possibly achieving the same results only quicker while improving the taste of the already tasty tea. Well, no such luck. The cramps were more severe and lasted for several hours. The next time I went back to the enteric coated soft-gels and the results were excellent, just like before. To be certain I decided to give the drops another try and again I felt an increase in the severity of the cramping along with a burning sensation from my throat to my stomach that began almost immediately. Frankly it made me a little scared. I felt compelled to research the matter and discovered that peppermint oil isolated is a volatile oil and like all volatile oils is somewhat toxic, which is why they are usually available in minute measured doses with enteric coating to protect one's stomach. Needless to say, I won't be trying it again and I will be happy to have the enteric coated gel-caps at hand along with a new appreciation for their gentle efficiency.

Customer Review: when ordered from Halaleveryday the bottle comes without dripper = can be messy when pouring

The oil itself is good/ fresh, but Halaleveryday is using a glass bottle WITHOUT any dropper/dripper and a very awkward opening with which it is not possible to pour out of the bottle without creating a mess and wasting precious oil. The bottle neck is wider than standard so the usual drippers do not fit. Either they never tested themselves pouring out of their bottles (which is bad), or they did test and know that a pipette or big syringe is required to get the liquid out of the bottle (which is bad, too, esp. without mentioning that they use bottles without any pouring facilitator). That's additional material organizing/ ordering = time and money investment which nullifies the good price! Halaleveryday, please provide bottles with some kind of dripper! Without it you're only delivering half the value. I appreciated that the cap was tight and taped, but adding a larger dripper for this kind of bottle is necessary. Thanks!
As a site note, I ordered this oil here (ASIN B00028MKRQ as seen in the link in the address bar), but on the invoice from Halaleveryday it says ASIN B003B8VEN0 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003B8VEN0). It also leads me to the "other" oil when I click onto "Feedback". I still decided to comment here because in the list of merchants for B003B8VEN0 Halaleveryday does not even show up .. Amazon surveillance, please also look into this - thanks.

I am sure this product is great as Aromatherapy, and it is a big bottle for the price, but it did not work well ridding my house of mice. The peppermint tooth past smell seemed to have no effect. I had many people try this out for pest control, mice, squirrels, etc. and it never worked at all even at full strength. Do not waste your money if you plan on using this for pest control. I gave this 3 stars because you can use this peppermint oil in ice cream and candy making.
