For as long as I can remember I have lacked energy and like most people who feel lethargic more often than not I tried supplement after supplement that promises energy but in my case the only thing that had ever worked for me was the Redline Energy Drink ( Redline Energy Drink Grape 24 bttls ) - originally the only problem I had with Redline was I felt it was too expensive to drink every day (around $2.50 a bottle) but about a year or so ago I finally decided to be a little more selective about what I put into my body and I decided I wanted to try something natural and I stumbled onto Maca and I thank God I did.
While I've only been taking this Maca for about 2 weeks I honestly felt a difference from the first dose - an increase in energy and equally as important: a decrease in brain fog.
It used to be if I knew I had to be out and about most of the day (even if it was something I wanted to do) I would dread it just knowing I would feel tired - but just this last weekend I was out and about from 11AM - 9PM and I didn't feel like I wanted to find the nearest bench to sit down on or click my heeels and find myself sitting on the couch at home.
Obviously some supplements work for some while not doing a thing for others but if you are thinking of trying Maca I definitely think it is worth a try . . . some supplements are so expensive that when you buy them and they don't work for you - you really feel like you've taken a hit but with this Maca in the $14 range I think it's a no-brainer to give it a shot.
From the research I have read gelatinized Maca (such as this Now brand) is the type you should buy.
