I have GAD and no medical insurance, so I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to prescription medications. I am very pleased that the kava kava really does work to minimize anxiety. I am able to go out into public without any issue, and I don't feel mentally clouded like some other meds have left me feeling. I take slightly more than the recommended dosage - 4 pills at once instead of 3 throughout the day. I tried taking less but it didn't work for me.
