Customer Review: Very Good for Canker Sores

Although I am not a health care professional, I thought I'd like to share with you my experience with this product as I truly think it is first rate.
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice root is generally recommended for treatment of ulcers. Thank heaven, I don't have ulcers, but I have suffered from canker sores since childhood. I read somewhere that chewing DGL was helpful for canker sores. Well, it is more than helpful! I have been keeping a bottle of this in my cupboard for years and it is the only thing that works.
I have found that if I take it at the first sign of 'tingling' the sore simply does not form. If however, I wait until the sore had already formed it the DGL only shortens the duration to 1 wk (canker sores usually last 2 wks with me). If the canker sore is already 'in full swing' nothing will help.
I've tried many other remedies in the past both conventional and alternative (one such on the alternative side was swishing with colloidal silver which I gave up when I found out about the dangers associated with its use). This has proven to be for be the most effective and efficient.
If taken on time, Natural Factors Chewable DGL is in my opinion the BEST product out there for canker sores.
