I've never done dry-brushing before, and had read about all the benefits one could gain, so I figured I'd give it a try. I ordered this brush, and I like it! I've never tried any other kind, though, so I can't compare this brush to any other. I use this brush almost every day to dry brush, and my skin is so much softer and healthier than it's been in a long time.
PROS:
The detachable head is really handy, and well designed. It's easy to remove and put back on.
The strap on the head is also handy. It's not necessary, but I like having it as I don't have to worry about losing my grip on the brush and dropping it when I'm half coherent early in the morning.
The bristles are not as stiff as I had feared they might be. They're stiff enough to get my skin nice and tingly feeling, but not so stiff that they stung or hurt.
CONS:
The brush has a bit of a smell - very mild, but it's something I notice. It smells somewhat like resin, I think. It's not very strong, and it's not a horrible smell, but it's there. It's not enough for me to bump this down to four stars, though, 'cause I really like this brush!
