While I'm new to using protein drinks in my diet, I've gone through a small array of products over the years for different reasons.
This time I happened to be using them as a breakfast substitute, honestly this has gone over much better than I expected. Normally if given the time I'll just cook some egg's and eat some leafy greens, but being that my weekday schedule doesn't allow for that I needed a quick answer to my caloric nutritional intake requirements.

At 220 cals per serving (not the most cal dense sustenance) It satisfies my requirements for morning protein intake as well as added nutritional value thanks to the array of vitamins and other supplements included in the product. The issue here is that I'd be dead on my feet after an hour because my body isn't used to handling that low a caloric load, so to counter that I bring it up to a more normal level using 2Tbs of 100% pure organic peanut butter. This combination gives me enough caloric intake to easily make it to lunch.
my one question about this although I don't think it really effect the quality of the product is, what are the little whitish particles that settle out of the shake after mixing? is that undissolved protein? or is it some thing else, doesn't matter to me because i all get drunk any ways.
and a note on mixing, I find the best answer for this is using the magic bullet, it just makes it so much easier, and it's a lot cheaper than special blenders. and a whole lot more efficient than shaking.
