I bought this after I couldn't get my 5 year old to take the prescribed Ferrinsol drops based on the other reviews. I wasn't disappointed. The other reviewers are spot on. This is the most palatable iron supplement I've ever tasted (I tasted it before trying it on my son) and my 5 year old *asks* for it every day! We went from puking the entire meal if it was followed by Ferinsol to the child reminding me to give him his dose every day, it tastes that good. Enough said.
Caveat: the dosage mentioned on the label is for adults only. Check with your pede about the dosage for your child. Dosage varies depending on body weight and excess iron is fatal to young children.
