Not only is this an excellent product for urinary tract health, it clears up 'lower back pain' like nothing else! Most people including doctors don't know that kidney problems can be the cause of lower back pain -- even the kind that feels "for sure" like a vertebra is out of whack, but it isn't, it's kidney 'pollution' that for some reason affects the kidneys negatively. I started taking cranberry pills about 10 years ago because of kidney trouble, and noticed that when my kidneys were bothering me, my back was also hurting, sometimes excrutiatingly, and that both troubles disappeared completely after 2-3 days of taking cranberry pills. Since then, whenever a hint of backache or kidney funkiness begins, I take 3-4 of these cranberry pills a day, each time with a big glass of water, for 3 or 4 days, and feel excellent for weeks and usually months. I've taken other brands, but Nature's Plus 1000 has been the most effective, for me. I do this 'lecture' quite often to friends and family who are having kidney/back problems, but rarely does anyone pay attention, maybe it seems just too simplistic. One would think they'd at least try cranberry pills, considering that they know I'm 73 and haven't been to a doctor for over 20 years because nothing's been wrong that Mother Nature couldn't cure easily. I'm SO glad I paid attention to the healthstore clerk who recommended them to me all those years ago, and I've silently thanked her several times. ~F
