Customer Reviews of Nature's Way Rhodiola Rosea, 60 VcapsCustomer Review: Satisfied Summary: 5 Stars
I am fully satisfied on how Rhodiola has boosted my metabolism and helped me to stay focused. Before taking Rhodiola I stayed tired and off focus but now that I have been using this product for one month now I do see the difference in my energy. Again I am fully satisfied!
Customer Review: Help me a lot! Summary: 5 Stars
Roman soldiers used it thousands of years ago and the Chinese still use it today; within 2 days of starting it I had more energy and was less tired. That it is supposed to help with my T call count is an added bonus; great for a cancer patients in my book.
Customer Review: delivered to the wrong address Summary: 5 Stars
I left a bad review because the product was not delivered -- but USPS just delivered to the wrong address. Sorry. I'll get UPS delivery next time.
Customer Review: It works, but... Summary: 3 Stars
...why on earth did Nature's Way add iron to the mix? Those who takes supplemental thyroid hormone or other drugs that bind with iron--tetracycline, for example--will have to go through incredible contortions to adjust their dosing schedule. Given that there are many other standardized Rhodiola rosea products available, it makes more sense to avoid this one. I've switched to the NSI product, and I couldn't be happier.
The company is excellent, and it makes generally terrific products, but whoever decided that Rhodiola rosea needs to be adulterated with iron made a big mistake.
Customer Review: Chemical taste and smell -- in a natural product? Summary: 2 Stars
I'm a Rhodiola user for many years, and I respect this brand. I believe that this company is related to Schwabe in Germany, which has a good reputation for their St. Johns Wort, so I thought this one would be a winner. It was a turn-off from the moment I opened the bottle, however, as it smelled funny and tasted funny too. Not the kind of "dirt" flavor that Rhodiola and other herbs have, but a distinctive chemical odor. Perhaps something in the processing, or the result of a poor quality extract. I couldn't get much of a boost out of it, certainly not as much as a 150-mg (and higher priced) Rhodiola that I generally use. Judging by the good reviews, there are people using this that haven't tried other Rhodiolas. It's kind of like pizza. I have never had a truly BAD pizza -- they're all filling. But once you try a great pizza, or Rhodiola, you wonder why they bothered with the cheap version. Were they trying to hit a price point, perhaps using Chinese roots?
