The idea behind this product is sound, and when you can get the blamed cap on securely it works, but that isn't often. The cap and the top of the pot are threaded, but getting the threads to engage is an exercise in futility. After enough fiddling, you can get the top on somewhat well, but by that time the water inside is no longer warm. Since flushing your sinuses with cold water is unpleasant, you will end up using the pot with more water escaping from the under the cap than from the spout.Customer Review: Need larger nostrils than mine for the neti pot to work

I was out of town and forgot to bring my Netipot, so I bought one of
these pots at the drugstore. The oddly shaped nozzle didn't fit my nose properly, it's not ergonomically designed like the standard Netipot shape.
I was miserable. I had to go online and buy a Sinucleanse pot which took two days to arrive. By then, my allergies had taken over. I guess they are sold out in the stores because they fit all nostril sizes!! I would not suggest this pot due to the shape, and poor quality plastic. It's clearly not "medical grade", so it seems to be adding more impurites rather than removing them (stinky chemical smell). Their salt packets seemed to burn a little.
You can buy a large tub of premixed solution that is far more gentle on the sinus membranes. Glad to be home. Once you rely on the Neti, it's hard to travel without one!! Nothing against the Netipot in general, just this version. Hope this helps others in their choices.

I had high hopes for this product as I was hearing so much positive information from friends and family. When I tried it the water just ran through and gave no relief of any kind. I realize that was what was supposed to happen but, even blowing my nose after provided no positive change. After using a whole pot full of the pre-mixed solution I was no better than I was before. I would not waste your money on this product.Customer Review: Rinsing is good, but not with this pot!

Rinsing the sinuses is a great thing to do, but this pot is poorly constructed and water leaks from the top because you can never get the lid to close properly. I contacted the company and never got a reply. We bought two of these, one for my husband and one for myself and they both have the same problem. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the other brands!
