Customer Review: I've rinsed without having this prepared solution by trying to add my own salt and baking powder and this makes a huge difference because it showed me how I had to make it really salty.

I've rinsed without having this prepared solution by trying to add my own salt and baking powder and this makes a huge difference because it showed me how I had to make it really salty. There is no longer pain when I rinse and I was in immense pain before! I am also able to put in more water per packet than it says to in the directions and still get the same effect, so that way I can save money. Anyway, the only problem is that I just don't know if rinsing is helping me at all and I purchased 3 boxes at once, but at least with the packets it is pain free when I do it. I just don't quite see what its benefit is yet.Customer Review: They are easier than mixing your own which I have done for the past year.

The packets are great to use along with this system of sinus rinsing. They are easier than mixing your own which I have done for the past year. It's a lot more expensive though. So to save money you could use the packets just for travel or when you are in a hurry. The correct proportions for do it yourself though are: 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. baking soda to 8 oz of water. That mixture will not burn nor will these handy premixed packets. I also love the squirt bottle system that Neilmed has. It does a good job and helps me have fewer sinus infections when I do it twice a day.Customer Review: I have migraines but this has all but eliminated those that are triggered by sinus.

I use it twice a day and I have fewer headaces plus, with using it at bedtime, I don't wake up as congested in the morning. I've used up the 50 packets that came with my kit and am buying my first box of 100 at this great price - what a deal!

Mixture Packets Box Contains: 100 Regular Premixed Packets of pH Balanced Sodium Chloride & Sodium Bicarbonate Mixture (USP Grade, Natural Ingredients, Isotonic, Preservative Free & Iodine Free) Educational Brochure Instructions in English, Spanish or French What is the difference between Hypertonic (green) and Isotonic (blue) packets? This Green colored packet will make a Hypertonic (higher concentration) solution when mixed with 8 oz. (240 ml.) of water. It can also make an isotonic solution, equivalent to our regular blue colored packet, if mixed with 16 oz. (480 ml.) of water. Our regular product, the blue colored packet, makes an isotonic solution in 8 oz. (240 ml.) of water (using our SINUS RINSE bottle or other measuring devices). It is strongly recommended to use this Green packet only unde the advice of your physician or using your judgment. A few research reports, plus feedback from some physicians and customers have reported additional benefits from using a hypertonic solution. If you experience any intolerable burning or stinging, please discontinue the use of the hypertonic solution. In my opinion, apart from transient, mild burning, it will not cause any permanent damage with a few uses. With time, you will be able to judge as far as what concentration of saline works best for you. What is the difference between the Pediatric Kit and the regular kit? NeilMed s Pediatric Sinus Rinse bottle has a volume capacity of 4 oz. (120 ml.), and an aperture (opening) on top of the cap of 3/32 in. (2.5 mm). Our Regular Sinus Rinse bottle has a volume capacity of 8 oz. (240 ml.) and an aperture (opening) on top of the cap of 3/16 in. (4.5 mm). Both systems are designed to give the same concentration of solution. Children or adults who feel that the volume of the regular 8 oz. (240 ml.) bottle with the 3/16 in.
