In our low-humidity summer weather, this device is just what was required. It cools the air--not like an air conditioner but enough to make a nice difference. The fan is quiet and not at all irritating, yet it is powerful enough to make a difference across the room. It's nice and compact; doesn't get in the way when it's not in use. Our summers (Western Oregon) are pretty mild, so this might be of limited usefulness in other climates, but for us this meets the need very nicely.

It is not unusual to begin caring about whether your home appliances are environmentally friendly. Air conditioners often used Freon, which can be harmful to the Earth?s delicate atmosphere. Swamp coolers use the all-natural process of evaporation to cool the air. They are ideal for direct spot cooling and very inexpensive to purchase and operate. Selectable Speeds and Air Delivery Modes: High, medium and low speeds are available on the cooling or fan-only modes. There are also three modes of cooling available (normal, natural and sleeping wind) to customize the frequency and strength of the air flow.
Air Quality Improvement: A built-in anion generator releases anion to help you sleep, kill germs and freshen the air. There is also a regenerative light contact agent that absorbs harmful chemical gases and a spray type purifying function that cleans volatile organic compounds.
Wider Cooling Area: The oscillation feature spreads the cooled air over a wider area. There is 100 degree large angle air delivery featured as well that really pushes the air throughout the room.
