My four year old daughter had cataract surgery as a baby so she has had to patch since. I think Nexcare is much better for day to day use as it is lighter and allows her eye to breath better. The other popular brand is good, but the adhesive is so tacky it hurt her when we took the patch off. The skin around her eye was red, plus alot of eyebrows came out with it. We have switched to Nexcare and there are wayless tears!
