Review: Doesn't cleanse hair well

After using Infusium 23 for a year, I decided it was time to try a new shampoo and conditioner. Hearing great things about Nexxus, I purchased the 'Therappe' shampoo and the 'Hydra Sleek' conditioner. After four uses, I had to start using my old shampoo and conditioner again because the Nexxus products did not cleanse my hair well and my scalp started to itch after only one use.

I have naturally blonde hair that's prone to split-ends and it must be shampooed daily or it looks oily, so it is important that I use a shampoo that cleanses well. I also have normal hair, not too thin or thick. When I used this shampoo it never lathered well, no matter how much I used, and after I dried my hair it did not look clean. I would lather, rinse, then repeat and it would still not cleanse my hair. Also, I do not have a sensitive scalp and no apparent allergies to any ingredient in the shampoo or conditioner, so I am not sure why I had a reaction to this product.

I'm now using Infusuim 23 again which I love, it's just difficult to find the matching shampoo and conditioner at some of my local stores. Luckily, my scalp stopped itching a couple of days after I stopped using Nexxus. So, my advice is buy the smallest amount possible to see if this shampoo will work for you because Nexxus shampoos and conditioners are pretty expensive.

If you're wondering about the shampoo scent it has a strong 'tanning oil' scent, very tropical-banana
