I wish more people with sinus problems knew about this product...recently I went through three rounds of antibiotics for a sinus infection. Two days after my last dose of antibiotic, the infection was coming back, and I knew I needed to do something, or in a few days I'd be back where I started. No energy and horrible pain. The family doctor was getting tired of seeing me anyway, and I knew the next time I came in with a sinus infection I'd be getting a referral to an ENT. I'd heard of grapefruit seed extract before, but I can be pretty skeptical. I'd also seen the Nutribiotic nasal spray at my health food store, but thanks to its blah packaging and vague wording on the bottle I didn't even consider it as an option. I'm so glad I reconsidered; this product really works when nothing else has. I've tried Xlear and Sinofresh, and neither one has worked well for me. If you doubt it, go to mayoclinic.com and search for grapefruit seed extract; it's listed under complementary/alternative medicinal treatments for periodontis and gingivitis. The site states that the extract has "proven antibiotic qualities."
