I resisted buying this piece of the OPI Alice in Wonderland collection because I was worried it would look tacky - blue glitter nail polish seems like it should be restricted to twelve year old girls. However, when I saw it in the store, I couldn't resist.
First of all, the color is a much deeper blue than it looks. It's more of a rich sapphire color, very saturated. There are flecks of silver and pale gold in it as well, which add a little visual interest to it. It's really very lovely and fun. It took three coats for me to get it as opaque as I like (I do use thin coats, though), and you may have to use more than one layer of top coat because of the grittiness of the polish (it is pure glitter, after all). Still, the color is far more wearable than you'd think, and it looks absolutely amazing in the light. Another winner from OPI.
