Customer Review: Difficult to use.

I was looking for a water bottle to replace the many plastic water bottles that I wasted money on -- not to mention wasted landfill space! I chose the Oggi because I was sure it wouldn't leak, and it looked durable. I thought that, since it would only hold water, I needn't bother too much about scrubbing the inside.
I was disappointed, simply because the screw top made it impossible for me to take a quick swig of water. When it came to washing the thing, I was never sure that I rinsed it out thorougly. I couldn't really see into the bottle to know how clean it was. And worst, I couldn't glug the water quickly when I was very thirsty; the shape of the bottle opening is awkward to drink from.
But I did find a bottle that met all my criteria - convenience, no leaking, comfortable and fast to drink from, and easy and thorough washing. It's the thermos intak version. Not as eye-catching as this one (in my opinion) but vastly more practical. I was worried that the cheaper plastic thermos version would give a bit of a plastic taste to the water; and I'm very picky about my water! But it doesn't. So, while I still think my Oggi is good enough to use, I prefer my thermos water bottles.Thermos Nissan Intak Hydration Bottle with Meter, Blue
Customer Review: cheap materials = Moldy taste

the design & look are good, but I could not use a bottle that has a cap made of cheap plastic that tastes like mold after 2 days of use. I washed it like a maniac but no use. water tasted disgusting, so it ended up in the recycle bin. A waste of money.
