Customer Review: An incredibly effective product and a great scent to boot

I had used Old Spice in the past before switching brands and ultimately returning to this one after other deodorants didn't seem to cut it. I was getting 'swamp-pits' in the middle of winter and needed something to protect better against perspiration than regular deodorant. Old Spice's 'Sweat Defense' delivers on every level - scent, wetness protection, and duration. Out of curiosity, when I was comparing this deodorant to Gillette's clinical strength antiperspirant in the store, I noticed the only difference was that the active ingredient (which is the same in both) is but 1% less in Sweat Defense than in Gillette. 1% difference, yet Sweat Defense was $3.62 and Gillette was $11.98. So before you go and buy expensive "clinical strength" antiperspirant for three times the cost, give 'Sweat Defense' a chance - an affordable deodorant/antiperspirant that actually works.
The 'Pure Sport' scent is one of a few available. It is definitely a very fresh and pleasant scent, as any other 'Pure Sport' Old Spice product is. In sum, since I started using Old Spice Sweat Defense, I've been completely dry and smelling great under my arms during working, exercise, and intense heat conditions. Thanks for making a great and effective product, Old Spice. My only request is that they release this line with the 'Classic' Old Spice scent. 'Pure Sport' is probably the closest relative to the 'Classic', but there's nothing like the original.
