My husband and I are in our 70's and he has high blood pressure as well as an irregular heartbeat so this product is ideal for him. We have been using an arm pressure monitor that is also an Omron for about the last 5 years or so. We thought the wrist cuff would be easier to use plus the ability to detect the irregular heartbeat, so we decided to upgrade.
This cuff is very, very easy to use and I use it too, even though I don't need blood pressure medicine now, I keep a record for my doctor when I have my yearly checkup. We would highly recommend this product.

I purchased the cuff to help keep track of my pressure so I could prove to my doctor that I should come off of my blood pressure meds. This thing really worked AND it helped save my life, literally!! I had a bad headache one day and thought for sure that it meant that my pressure was up - WRONG! My pressure was down dangerously low (90/55) and I was also dizzy and lightheaded. My doctor took me off my meds the next day!! You do have to be careful how you hold your wrist so if you do get a really low or really high reading, double check it.I love it and would purchase again!Customer Review: Great Product

I am a disabled vet who has to take his blood pressure a couple times a day due to migraines and medication. I ordered this product due to Amazon price. It was $20-$30 cheaper than buying it in a local store, even if I had it overnighted it was going to a little cheap that buying it in the local stores. I had the Veteran Hospital take my blood pressure and then right after that I took with this product and it was right on with what the doctor just told me. I purchased this unit because I was having trouble using my wifes arm-cuff-style blood pressure monitor. I found this to be just what the doctor ordered. It is very easy to use. The Advanced Positioning Sensor makes it imposible to position incorrectly, and the reading have agreed with the one's my doctor gets with his expensive unit. Best of all, the easy of using it is fantastic. I just slip it on my wrist, press the start button, position the unit near my heart, and it does the rest. OUTSTANDING. The monitor is used by the wife, she did have a problem at frist trying to postion the monitor to work (APS). Barb is use to the monitor now and can get it to work within two trys. Barb uses the monitor two times a day and finds that the readings are correct. The old wrist monitor gave bad reading, and her doctor was not happy about this. You get what you pay for, this monitor is worth the extra amount, my wife health depends on it. Do not buy a cheap unit, it has no quality. Also make sure you buy new, you get good batterys and a warrinty
