I'm very pleased with the ease of use of this unit. I had been using a manual inflation Omron for years, and taking my pressure was a tedious process -- pumping it up and waiting for the reading easily took the better part of about two minutes. With the new unit, I slip my arm in the cuff, and press a button and well within half the time of before, I have my reading, plus it logs the last 30 readings so that I don't have to write them down immediately. This is a wonderful product for the home user! The fact that it's "automatic" takes the guesswork out of the equation. We purchased the Extra Large Cuff as well thinking that it would be needed, but the cuff that comes with the unit is very generous, so it really wasn't necessary. We love that the unit is "portable" and can be operated with either batteries or plugged in. The quality of the Omron Unit is also evident in the construction...very sturdy and yet lightweight. This blood pressure monitor works very well. This is the 2nd Omron BP monitor we've purchased, the first one was very similar (about 6 years ago), and the display on it recently died. I checked with Omron about repair, and since that particular model had been discontinued, my only option was to purchase a new one. I did a lot of research deciding whether to get the arm cuff model again or a wrist cuff, and decided on this one. It's very easy to use, has a nice display, and is very accurate. I received this monitor just 2 or 3 days after ordering it. The price was excellent, as I'd priced them in the local pharmacy and they were charging twice the price. It is very accurate and convenient to use since it operates with either batteries or an electrical plug. It also has the capability of storing readings for later comparision. It's quite easy to use and eliminates the need for a stethoscope because it is built right into the cuff. I'd recommend both the monitor and the seller.
