The Omron HEM712C is a wonderful device. I have had an Omron blood pressure monitor for years and it worked very well. This is a newer model and it is perfect and I am confident that it will last for years. The memory system is ideal. Beware that this monitor does not come with a plug-in cable and unless you buy one, you will have to use batteries. Fortunately, I have the cable from my previous monitor and that works just fine. However, if only being able to use batteries is OK with you, don't worry about the cable. I just prefer having the ability to use both options.Customer Review: Easy, fast, apparenty accurage

Just got this today. I put the batteries in, plugged in the tube, and then off to the drug store with it to test it against a a blood pressure machine I know is accurate. Both machines registered the same approximate numbers (the usually variations in blood pressure of course taken into account.) Easy to use, not as tight around your arm as the usually one at the drug store, and no more driving to the drug store to check my BP.
And the online price was about 30% less than the Walmart price.
First impression, a good deal.

This model of the Omron BP Monitor is faster and much easier to use than prior models. I ordered it with the standard cuff although I am at the max arm size for it and I still get very accurate readings. The memory makes it nice to recall readings when having to provide your MD with a log. The only improvement would be if one could print out the readings. Setting the initial date and time is not as convenient or obvious as it could be but fortunately it is not something that has to be done frequently. Overall this unit is a good value for the price.Customer Review: great product for the price

Just recently received and started using the Omron BP monitor and it works great. I am a smaller person 5'2, 136lbs and found that the cuff fit very comfortably for me. I believe it would fit well on a medium sized arm as well. It gave me accurate readings from the very beginning and was easy to set up and use. After using the Omron HEM 712C im glad that I bought an automatic bp monitor. This is my first time using a home bp monitor but it definitely felt Doctor grade, approved. I bought this Omron blood pressure monitor for my in-laws as a gift and this was considered as most wise decision. Before sending to my in laws I took to my PCP to make sure the reading are correct. Again my father-in-law went to his primary care to verify. All the time monitor shows correct measurement and this is no doubt a must buy to monitor and regulate and control blood pressure for any age group.
Should mention that delivery was prompt as expected just before the date of in-laws marriage anniversary.
