For a gadget guy like me, the monitor is almost fun to use. My wife was recently diagonosed with High BP and was not sure if it was a temporary condition. Because of the ease of use, she uses the monitor every day to keep a record. The cuff is designed simply and requires no fastening. It automatically inflates and takes the reading. This monitor with auto inflatable cuff is very easy to use and the results seem to be quite consistant, within +/- 5. This is in contrast to my previous monitor (different make), where the results would be varying quite a bit. This is a really great machine with a large cuff and memory and time features which help keep track of your readings. However after only 3 months of use it has stopped working. We've replaced batteries and tried everything and it only inflates for a couple of seconds and then stops.
So don't get caught up in all the bells and whistles and end up with a nonfunctioning unit, because they only count if they work.
