Excellent product! I bought this model because the ComFit Cuff fits both my arm(big guy) and my wife's arm (small gal). The cuff is MUCH easier to use than the standard unit cuff. I later bought the cheaper Wal-Mart ReliOn version (See Verbose Henry's review) of the monitor and have tested the units together. The readings are consistent. The readings are also consistent with clinic monitors. We use batteries instead of the plug-in adapter. The original batteries are still in use after seven months and at least 200 readings. I strongly recommend both units. {Added 4/30/09: Both units are still in regular use and we are still extremely pleased with their accuracy and performance. After my doctor recommended I purchase an Omron cuff-style blood pressure meter to monitor my blood pressure, I did some research and bought this model. I have been using it for about a month and a half now, and I must say that I am impressed. Firstly, it is easy to use. You put on the cuff as per the directions, push the switch between user A or user B (it comes with labels so you don't have to remember which one you are) and press the start button. That's it.
There are all kinds of bells and whistles and a guest mode if you care to use them, and an easy-to-use memory function to help keep track of your blood pressure trends.
I was also surprised at how reasonable the price was.
In short. My doctor recommended an Omron cuff style blood pressure monitor to me, and now I'm recommending it to you.

I purchased this item to monitor BP and pulse at home because of a recent change of medication. Accuracy was the number one priority. I took the unit to my primary care physician and had the nurse correlate it with both the manual and the automatic unit used at the clinic.
The nurse remarked that this brand is known to be the best.
She also said that if the unit was within 5 points of both the automatic and the manual testing, it could be considered reliable for home use.
This unit was within 2 points of my BP measured at the clinic, and therefore considered accurate. The unit is a little fussy about arm band adjustment, i.e. make sure the strap is firmly secured around the upper arm. If it is too loose, it will result in an error.
However, properly used it has no problems.

Doc told me to monitor my BP as it was running above 140 every time I came to his office. I read a great review of this product, compared it to others available, and it seemed to be the right one at a decent price.
I've used it for 6 months and it works well, is very easy to use, and comparing it to my Doc's, found it to be quite close in its readings.
He on the other hand was not happy with the readings of my past weeks which are saved in the memory. Consequently, I am now taking a prescription daily to lower my BP. But of course, that is no fault of this product.
One feature I would like to see is a way to store readings in memory for two people as my wife and I both use it, and I had to make a list of which readings were mine. It's a small complaint, as the date and time posting for each made that possible.

I always value Omron's productions and this monitor kept my beliefs ; )
This monitor is really professional and yet easy to use for home. The quality of the body, the screen, the pouch and also cuff is awesome. I bought this for my mother and she is really so happy with it and she even stated that it much outperformed all the other monitors she previously had. I got this monitor for a steal price from Amazon and you should really not miss that. It used to sell ll over the Internet and in stores for around $130 and it considered to be the top of the line monitor from Omron except for the computer connection functionality available on the higher priced model. We are all Mac users at home and my mother even won't take advantage of the PC software so I decided to settle with this model.. A great buy and Thanks Amazon..
