At the request of my physician to obtain a cuff type blood pressure monitor, I immediately checked the Omron products as I previously used the Omron wrist type and was pleased with that. The physician, however, preferred cuff type monitors. I checked on Amazon and purchased the Omron HEM-780 Cuff Monitor and have been using it daily for over a month now. It is very easy to use, a comfortable fit, an easy read screen and very accurate. The wrist type is also very convenient; however, I feel I am getting a better reading with the cuff. This is just a feeling since it is similar to the type used by doctors. I have checked my blood pressure at times with the wrist monitor after using the cuff and find very little, if any difference. The Omron HEM-780 blood pressure monitor is excellent! I purchased it as a Christmas gift (for myself) and it has been an outstanding investment. On average, I use it twice a day. It's easy to read, very accurate and provides a tracking process that helps you see important patterns and trends. Moreover, I am a lot more informed about my blood pressure health. From a background perspective, my mother and grandfather both have high blood pressure. Therefore, I am a prime candidate for hypertension. Monitoring my blood pressure in the privacy of my home is convenient and easy. It also encourages me to take an active part in managing my own health. In closing, I exercise regularly, eat a low-sodium diet and I use the Omron HEM-780 to monitor my blood pressure. With two seniors in our household battling hypertension it has been critical for us to track our BP readings at home for the doctor visits. If we don't take in a record, the doctors hits us with more meds even if our BP readings are high in his office due to "white coat syndrome".
The wrist monitor has been inaccurate - readings far too low. The other monitor we had which required a stethoscope was awkward for us to use individually.
This machine is GREAT - records readings so we can take the machine to the Dr's office and prove HE is what elevates our blood pressure. It has many features such as irregular heartbeat monitor, morning hypertension versus all day and more. Even we older people are able to understand it and keep our records separate.
We couldn't be more pleased.

before this product i got Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor from CVS because the store was every near and it was something urgent as my wife was pregnant, we need to monitor her BP twice daily, But that CVS BP Monitor turned out bad and gave error the first time i used, so i returned it to CVS and order online from amazon. To my suprise Omron 780 Blood Pressure Monitor is till working good as accepted and it shows accurate reading with many more feature inbuild to explore.
Omron is best and very much well known for it's health Products and this was my first from Omron and i am 100% satisfy with out any negative aspects of the product.
the order was processed very fast and with in two days i receieved BP monitor at my home. that was awesome.Thanks for that.

My husband gets anxious about going to the doctor's office so when he does go, his blood pressure usually records higher than it usually is. My husband's doctor has been recommending that he get a blood pressure monitor so that he can record his "normal" rhythm of blood pressure readings and then guage his medication according to that as opposed to his "spiked" blood pressure readings at the office. We have been hesitant because of the cost of the monitors we had seen. Then this Christmas, we saw this one through Amazon at such a reasonable cost, we couldn't resist. The detailed description (we were able to order the extra large cuff model); ease of comparing models and features before we ordered along with the excellent prices was exactly what we needed. Thanks Amazon!
