I have been wearing either hard or gas permeable contacts for 40 years now and have occasionally tried this product. It's thinner than other solutions I've tried and you have to use a lot of it for it to be effective. So I'm going back to Boston gas permeable eye cleaner (with the red top). It's much thicker and with one drop you can tell you're really cleaning your contacts. Sorry to say Optifree doesn't cut it. I have to clean them twice and sometimes three times to get them clean. And these lenses are less than a year old.....Customer Review: would rather clean my lenses with dish soap!

sorry but i cant give this product a positive review. i had to use it out of desperation when i couldnt get my beloved miraflow cleaner and softwear saline a few years ago. it made my eyes SWELL shut. i had redness and awful discharge. this cleaning system went right back to the store. since the wonderful product miraflow has been discontinued, i recommend you go with the cvs version of it. i havent tried it personally, but it has got to be better than this stuff!Customer Review: Good Luck getting a response.

I ordered Opti-Free Cleaner, but was sent the wrong product. I emailed them and got a one sentence reply that said they would send out the correct item.
After two more emails and a month later of no replies, I finally filed a complaint with Amazon. A week later I got a refund but no reason, just account adjustment.
I like Amazon, the product is good for contacts, but I would not recommend getting them from American Wholesale ever again.
