I have been using ORAMD for 3 months and just came back from my dentist appointment. Well, let me tell you, 3 months ago I was told I had severe periodontal disease. My pockets measured at 4,5,6,7's. I was told I would have to have surgery to replace the bone at $2700.00 (that was the cost with insurance). Well I refused and started to do some research and found OraMD. Well during my check up my pockets were at 2,3,4's and I only had two 5's. The hygienist keep asking me if I had stopped brushing my gums, and what kind of toothbrush I was using. I told him I had in fact stopped brushing my gums and was using a Sonicare toothbrush, along with a soft bristle manual toothbrush when I am in a rush. He asked me these questions at least 3 times (as I giggled inside). This was the longest cleaning and irrigation I have ever had (I think he was trying to find something wrong and he could not). He then stated that I was doing a good job at home. I asked him how my periodontal disease was and this man started to stutter and say, "Well your gums have turned pink (they were dark brown), you have no bleeding, no bacteria, etc... and again asked me what kind of toothbrush I was using. I asked him why I still needed to come every three months and of course the response was, "We don't want your teeth to go back to where they were." Of course these dental offices are all about money. All I have to say is you will not go wrong if you use this product. I will never be with out it, even if I have to sell aluminum cans to get the money LOL!!!! Happy Brushing
