I absolutely hate going to the dentist so much that I had not been to one 10 years or maybe more don't remember.
Last year I had two crowns placed in the top and bottom of the back of my mouth. The dentist stated that I may need a root canal and that scared the crap outta me. And I'm guessing a root canal would hurt more so, so I came to Amazon.com looking for a solution and I found OraMD.
I use the regular strength OraMD and started it around December 22, 2010 knowing that my next dental appointment would be January 19, 2011. I didn't follow the 4 step system as listed. I added two to three drops of it to my electric toothbrush at night only. I also brushed my teeth with toothpaste because it just doesn't seem right to only brush with OraMD. Also used three different toothpastes; one was Periodontal, Colgate, (to control tartar buildup) Sensodine (had a few sensitive teeth after all that crown work) and I didn't use them in any particular order. They are just all on my bathroom sink.
I went back to the dentist 1/19/11 and the dental assistant who checked my pockets kept saying, Oh wow! This is excellent! Over and over and over again! I impressed! (It was so funny, I started giggling because of the way she kept on going.) My pockets where at 4, 5, 6 and they are now mostly 2's and 3's. I do have some 4's that are in the back of my mouth but they use to be at 6's. I know why they only went down so much; it's hard flossing in the back, so I need to find something that will help which I believe may be a water pik but I'm still researching. I didn't need to be numbed before getting my teeth cleaned this time (yeah, sad isn't) and she also stated there was no bleeding nor did it hurt while she was picking and prying in my teeth like it did in previous appointments.
You never really know if a product is going to work for you until you try it. I had to ignore the bad reviews and went ahead and order the product anyways. Thankfully, it worked for me.
