I put this on my teeth as directed but about an hour later my teeth became very painful. I was in a great deal of pain for several days. Its been about a month and my teeth are getting better now. I started using Sensodyne ProNamel Mint Essence Toothpaste, 4 oz. (Pack of 4) twice a day and will continue using that.
The problem with the Orajel Kit is once its open you use it and throw the rest out, can't re-cap it. I wish I would have tried just one tooth and then bought another if that application had worked. But no... I had to do all my teeth. Live and learn.

I really wanted to whiten my teeth but the sensitivity was so painful. Someone suggested a teeth desensitizer- which I had never heard of. The applicator was a small cardboard vile with a cotton swab at the end. Not very hand or practical. I applied as instructed and crossed my fingers and hoped it worked. It didn't! After whitening, my teeth hurt just as much as if I had not used anything. VERY DISSAPPOINTED! I really wanted it to work.Customer Review: Doesn't work
