When my previous Oral B power brush finally stopped working (after 7+ years), I definitely was going to buy another one. The old one was great but this newer model is so much better. The speed is much faster, it's quieter, cleans more thoroughly and doesn't irritate your gums, even if you put pressure. The noise changes if you press too hard and also at 30 second intervals to let you know how long to spend in each quadrant of your mouth. My teeth are cleaner and whiter than with the previous model I had, I almost wish it had died sooner so I could buy this one. The battery life is decent, ours get used 4 times a day for about 5 days on one charge. It really provides a dentist like clean if you use it properly and though the replacement brushes can be pricey, I'd consider it worth having a healthy mouth and avoiding expensive and painful dental procedures.Customer Review: Your breath stinks and your teeth are dirty...

You think your mouth is clean after brushing, and so did I. It's not. It is impossible for us to brush our teeth and clean our mouth the way this toothbrush does with a regular toothbrush. It is simple to use, and unlike many others does not contribute to receding gums. If your gums bleed when you go to the dentist, buy this toothbrush. If your mouth feels gross two hours after brushing, buy this toothbrush. If you like that smooth, clean feeling after visiting the dentist but don't enjoy the scraping, picking and cold sweats that go along with the dentist buy this toothbrush. You will have that wonderful feeling twice a day and when you visit the dentist there will be no plaque, tartar or anything else for the dentist or his hygenist. The best 50 bucks you can spend on yourself. This is my third ORALB plaque remover and by far the best.Customer Review: My dentist was so proud!

Last January I bought the 3D Excel after a particularly depressing dentist visit in which he told me that my gums were pulling away and I was on the road to losing my teeth. He recommended that I get 'one of the higher end electric toothbrushes.' I did some research and chose the Braun/OralB version instead of Sonicare because more people told me they liked it and actually used it. Well, boy does it work. Not only do my teeth feel super clean, every day, but I just went BACK to the dentist and he saw "huge improvement". Plus, he asked if I had tried whitening products because my teeth were really white.. and they weren't before. Apparently, it was just the brush, because I hadn't! So, long story, but ... very satisfied customer. I'll never go back to a regular toothbrush.. I want to keep my teeth!Customer Review: Oh, yes!

Prior to having this, I used a different powered toothbrush. After just a few months of use, I noticed my teeth weren't any cleaner JUST AFTER using the wretched thing! So for awhile after that, I was scrubbin' 'em "old school"!
No tooth-scratching here, ladies and gentlemen. Two minutes go by so quickly! I find myself using it for four, I'm enjoying myself so much. LOVE the timer! You can tell some serious motion is going on with the brush head because your nose and upper lip will tickle. That kind of brush motion makes for me to trust this little gizmo. The unit also has a nice compartment for holding up to four brush heads, which have color-coded distinctions. You can mount the unit on the wall, if you'd like. The replacement brush heads are worth it. You should be, too.

Yes yes yes! I love this toothbrush! I will never be able to use a manual toothbrush again. I look forward to that "fresh from the dentist" feeling every time I brush my teeth. My wisdom teeth grew in without problems, so I still have them back there and they are the most difficult teeth to brush. My manual toothbrush simply wasn't doing the job. If you think about it, the shape of a regular toothbrush just isn't made to get to the back molars very well. Now, not only are they getting brushed, they are getting polished! Even the very back back of the teeth themselves thanks to the nice small round shape of the brushhead combined with the fast pulsating action.
My gums are healthy and every one of my teeth are white and plaque free, what else can I say?
