I hardly right a review of products, but my dentist, yes dentist recommended this, and I have thanked him many times already. My teeth feel clean all of the time, my gums are pink and healthy and I am brushing more than ever before. Three times a day. He told me not to use the polish head more than once or twice a week. I call it the welfare toothbrush, for obvious reasons, looking at the price, but I would gladly buy it again given the opportunity.
Customer Review: I have found if you want to get 2-week battery power for the toothbrush using it twice a day you have to charge the battery for 24 hrs not the 12 hrs as suggested by the manual.

I own the old 155XX series brush that was given to me about 6 years ago as a gift and have been using it until now. I just bought this new one since it's a new type of brush head. I must say that I like this one much better. For one thing, it's much quieter and faster at the same time. The larger brush body allowed them to put in a more powerful motor. It almost feels like they've incorporated the Sonic motor into this unit. The new brush head seems to work better at getting the plaque off also.
The only drawback is the extra heft of the larger handle. I didn't really need the LCD display either. Many of the function could have been given by the way that the handle shakes or beeps to signal for different modes. That would have allowed them to remove the unnecessary display and reduce the weight a little. Instead of the the display, a simple single green/yellow/red LED would have been just as effective at letting us know if it needs to be recharged. Anyway, that would have been a smarter design.

Ordered this top of the line Oral-B toothbrush as a gift. The online description is very sketchy - there is no way to know what accessories actually come with the toothbrush. Was very disappointed to learn from the gift recepient that although there were several attachments that come with this toothbrush, there was only ONE toothbrush head. I would have expected that for this premium price there would have been a minimum of two brushheads included. Looking at the photo of the storage/recharge unit, it looked like it might come with a couple of brushheads so that a couple of people could use the handle and each have their own brushhead - that's the way the slightly older Oral-B Professional electric toothbrush that I own came. So be aware that if two people plan to use this Triumph toothbrush you are going to have to buy extra brushheads immediately as only one is included. Finding the right brushheads for this particular model is not easy since the page lists under "accessories for this item" a Braun shaver and a totally different Oral-B toothbrush model, rather than helping the customer find the corresponding extra brushheads and replacement items to make ordering them easier. Descriptions do not indicate if any of the Oral-B replacement brushes are interchangeable between models! I wish Amazon would provide links to the proper accessories and replacement brushes for each particular Oral-B electric toothbrush, or a chart with this information, to make it easier for their customers to know what accessories or which additional brushes to order for each particular model of Oral-B electric toothbrush since they sell so many different types.Customer Review: Overall...

I just got this for Christmas, so I'm still getting used to it. It is easy to use. I like that it has a covered compartment for the different toothbrush heads. There is a 'soft' speed, but I wish it was a little more gentle. Overall, this is a great toothbrush. It came with the flossing head and the polishing head and I also got a pack of the regular heads. The flossing head was a little harsh, I was scared to use it on my front teeth, but the regular heads worked fine. If you are planning on purchasing this particular toothbrush, I suggest picking up a pack of the 'Oral-B EB17 Flexisoft' heads as well.
