I usually don't fall for gimmicky looking items like the 'Ove' Glove but decided to go ahead and try these out. I am glad I did. They work great. One thing I was using to pour the hot water from a tea kettle was a bulky oven mit. It was so bulky that it was difficult to grasp the handle. The 'Ove' Glove remedied that.
The fact that two of them came in the pack is great too.
As long as you do not try to hold a very hot pan for a long period of time they are fantastic. Keep them dry too because the moisture will transmit the heat. I have taken a baking dish, metal, glass, and porcelain, out of a 450ºF (232ºC)oven without any discomfort.
Highly recommended.

I bought these gloves as a holiday gift for my husband; however, they have been used by the entire family. They are easy to use and very helpful. I think that this is one of his favorite presents. The only thing I might change in the future would be the blue piping material. Our small children "helpers" like to try and pick it off. However, it is a minor detail and this is a product that I would highly recommend. We give cooking classes in our home and whenever our students see them, they are delighted and want to make a purchase. Too bad we aren't a retail store, we'd sell out! Thanks for a great product! This OLE glove is one of the best ideas I have ever used. I tried using them for hot pans to remove baked things from the oven and they were fantastic! I have always had a problem with burning myself here and there when using those regular pot holders, no more. These are great they fit like a regular glove (ha-ha) and keep your hands safe and I found no more burns. They priced them where they have made a gift possible to share with others and they rave about them also. The last two pairs went to my daughter and a gift for a sister, both love them.
Thanks for such a great product.

I bought this package of 2. I had a unique need in that I have a GE Advantium Speedcook oven. The oven door opens down, not from side to side, so one must reach over a very hot door to take out the metal tray. There are small wells on each side of the tray so that the tray can be grasped, but it is easy to touch the bottom of the oven, so is downright scary with potholders. Non-flexible mitts do not work at all--cannot fit into the wells. I needed a solution. These gloves work great! The fit my hands, and are completely flexible. Problem solved! Since they work in this situation, they will work for any type of oven.Customer Review: A great invention

I purchased my first Ove' Glove a few years ago at a local drugstore. It was expensive for an oven mitt but, I thought, if it really worked then it would end up being worth the cost. Fortunately I was right. Great product...so much easier then holding a "flat pad" or donning a "mitten". Recently I bought a two-pack here for just about the cost of the original single glove.
Excellent product...if you cook (or bake) spend the money and get a couple. They're about the same price as any single kitchen utensil at a quality store (and something you'll actually end up using!).
