Like everyone has said here it works great. Been using if off/on for years. It suddenly became difficult to find around 2001. All the drugstores gradually took it out of their inventory. I have no idea why, I kept asking but couldn't get an intelligent answer from anyone. I finally decided to look for it online in 2007. I found that AMAZON.com has the best prices.
The consistancy is key. It's a very fine sandy substance. The tube works best because it's thicker than the lotion. It really gets into your pores and cleanses them completely each time you use it. You will feel the results immediately. The ingredients are another key, the combination really makes this product work. I cannot tolerate sacycillic acid products alone but I can tolerate this one.
Note: If your skin is on the verge of a breakout, if you have blackheads & whiteheads just below the surface of your skin - this product can sometimes force the breakout to happen quicker. Don't freak-out it's only doing what it's supposed to do and that is get those impurities out of your skin! stick with it and you will see that after awhile there will not be anymore breakouts. And you will be in control not the acne.
Should be used on oily skin only. Not for people who have overly sensitive skin issues. It's a very strong product so I recommend this to people who have normal or hearty skin.
Also, if you are trying to get rid of skin tags or those ketoid bumps that can form around underarms, under breasts, etc, this product can be used with a copper peptide rebuilding system. In fact the dr. who discovered copper peptides recommends you combine a product like this with his. I did and it works great - helped me get rid of some skin tags on my neck area.
You only need to use a little bit. I use it twice a day and the tube lasts me about 3 months. This product is really cheap when you realize how well it works (like a crystal microderm abrasion) and how long it lasts it's cost is actually less than those $5-10 facial scrubs that are finnished within a month!
