For several years I have used a pill crusher of the kind that the top is screwed down against a base until the pill is chushed. For most people, especially for those with limited hand strength, this is a hard job. Then after many "screws" of the cap, the threads on the plastic cap strip making it more difficult to chush the pills.

The "Pillverizer" is easy to use, and easy to disassemble for cleaning. Leverage provided by the lever handle easily exerts enough pressure to push any pill into the grinder, as it is rotated while turning the crank. The "pillverizer" also reduces the pill to a find powder every time, which is not the case with the "screw cap pill crushers."

The Pillverizer is truely a great little device.
